Basketball Recap: Bear River Bruins vs. Colfax Falcons
After flying high against Wheatland last Wednesday, Bear River came back down to earth. The Bear River Bruins were dealt a 79-51 loss at the hands of the Colfax Falcons on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 785th, while the Falcons are ranked 386th).
When it comes to explaining why Bear River lost, don't look at Dylan Donley. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ryder Eason, who had seven points.
