Basketball Recap: Westampton Tech Takes a Loss

Westampton Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-33 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holy Cross Lancers. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Westampton Tech lost, don't look at Alex Jeanty. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-13 en route to 19 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Jacob McCollum was another key player, putting up four points.

Westampton Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Holy Cross, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
