Bloomfield is 1-7 against Barr-Reeve since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Cardinals are taking a road trip to  square off against the Vikings  at 5:30  p.m. Bloomfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1  runs per game  this season.
Bloomfield's pitching crew heads into the  contest  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over Dugger Union. The  victory continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.
 Chase Wiles made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  he posted five  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.

 In other batting news, Bloomfield got a  massive  performance out of  Aiden Scott, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  four  RBI gave  Scott a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Dillon Warnick, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Bloomfield  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .676. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their  OBP total in three consecutive  games.
 The scorekeeper got an easy start  on Monday as neither Barr-Reeve nor Shakamak made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Vikings fell just short of the Lakers by a score of  4-3. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Bloomfield pushed their record up to 9-12 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Barr-Reeve, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5.
 Bloomfield might still be hurting after the  6-0 defeat they got from Barr-Reeve  in their previous matchup  back in May of 2024. Can the Cardinals avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
