Tri-Central hasn't had much luck against Eastern recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Comets at 5:30 p.m. Eastern took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Tri-Central, who comes in off a win.
Tri-Central headed into their last contest having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Wes-Del let them put that streak behind them. The Trojans put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 12-6 win on Monday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Sam Chapman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Chapman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Brody Arnold was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Cherry, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
Tri-Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Western hit Eastern with a 17-run fourth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Comets came up short against the Panthers, falling 18-3. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Tri-Central's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Eastern, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
