Basketball Recap: Holly Pond Find Success

It's playoff time, and Holly Pond had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Phil Campbell Bobcats on Wednesday, sneaking past 40-37. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Bobcats are ranked 127th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Holly Pond has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. As for Phil Campbell, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-11.

As of now, neither Holly Pond nor Phil Campbell have any future games scheduled.
