For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Sheldon and Elk Grove have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Huskies came out on top against the Thundering Herd by a score of 3-1. The Huskies haven't had any issues with the Thundering Herd recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Sheldon's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Elk Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sheldon will face off against rival Monterey Trail at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Elk Grove is set to challenge their familiar foe Pleasant Grove at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
