After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Holy Family Catholic, Washburn was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 win over the Highland Park Scots. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Millers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
The team relied heavily on Emalyn Streifel, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
