West Liberty-Salem has gone 10-0 against Triad recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the West Liberty-Salem Tigers challenge the Triad Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

West Liberty-Salem is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairbanks just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Meanwhile, Triad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by West Jefferson 53-18. The Cardinals were down 37-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Triad's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for West Liberty-Salem, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Everything went West Liberty-Salem's way against Triad in their previous matchup back in February, as West Liberty-Salem made off with a 43-22 win. Does West Liberty-Salem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Triad turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
