Soccer Recap: Douglas Takes a Loss

Douglas fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Crossville on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1. Douglas were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Crossville earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Douglas has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10-1 record this season. As for Crossville, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 8-9-1.

Looking ahead, Douglas will face off against Tanner at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Crossville, they will square off against Boaz at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
