Volleyball Recap: Laney Dudte Key Part of Team Effort in Bobcats Win

Norwayne came into Thursday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on the Hillsdale Falcons with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Falcons, too.

Norwayne was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-15.

Norwayne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Laney Dudte, who had eight digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Dudte a new career-high.

Norwayne's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Hillsdale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwayne will take on Washington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hillsdale, they will square off against Dalton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
