Basketball Recap: Eden Ezra's Big Game Can't Quite Lead David Posnack Jewish Day over Hebrew Academy

If David Posnack Jewish Day was riding high fresh off their 58-20 takedown of Jewish Culture last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The David Posnack Jewish Day Rams took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hebrew Academy Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eden Ezra, who posted 14 points. Ezra is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Klein, who earned ten points.

David Posnack Jewish Day's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hebrew Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. David Posnack Jewish Day will square off against Immaculata-La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hebrew Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mater Bay Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
