Football Game Preview: Wilton vs. Van Buren

Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Van Buren should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will take on Wilton at 7:00 PM. Van Buren come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Things haven't been easy for Van Buren, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-46 to Mediapolis.

Meanwhile, Wilton might be getting used to good results now that the team has four wins in a row. Everything went their way against Columbus last Friday as they made off with a 34-8 win. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Wilton, who can brag about four blowout wins.

Van Buren took a serious blow against Wilton the last time the two teams met, falling 8-56. Can Van Buren avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
