Soccer Game Preview: Butler vs. Cresskill

The Butler Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Cresskill Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Butler came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against West Morris Mendham, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, Cresskill entered their contest against Bergen Charter on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Cougars fell 3-1 to Bergen Charter.

Cresskill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3-1. As for Butler, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Butler might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Cresskill in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
