Baseball Recap: Holt Sets Scoring Season-High Against Everett

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Holt). They blew past the Everett Vikings 18-2 on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Rams with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Holt and bumps their season record up to 3-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Everett, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Holt will take on rival East Lansing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Everett is set to face off against their familiar foe Grand Ledge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
