Basketball Recap: King's Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, King couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell to the Chelan Mountain Goats 63-59. The Knights have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

King's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Chelan, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

King's does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chelan, they and Meridian will face off at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Chelan has given up an average of 50.9 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
