Baseball Game Preview: Mountain View Thunder vs. Prairie Falcons

Mountain View is 2-8 against Prairie since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Thunder will host the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Mountain View is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They lost 11-1 to Battle Ground.

Mountain View saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brendon Lawson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Prairie fell victim to Columbia River and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Rapids, falling 6-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Rapids: they've now lost four in a row.

Prairie now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Mountain View, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
