Baseball Recap: Fairfield Comes Up Short

Fairfield lost to Pella on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Dutch by a score of 10-9. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Pella, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season.

Fairfield will square off against Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pella, they are taking a road trip to face off against Oskaloosa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
