Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lafayette lost against Tabb back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rams fell 3-1 to the Tigers. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-20 in the first set.

Lafayette started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-16, 27-25, 25-23.

Lynley Cannon paced Lafayette's offense, picking up 17 kills. Cannon got some help from Laurel Bray and her 29 assists. Emmerson Dodson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Burhite, who had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six contests.

Lafayette dropped their record down to 4-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Tabb, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lafayette will square off against rival Smithfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tabb is set to challenge their familiar foe Jamestown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
