Softball Recap: Chaparral Comes Up Short

Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 27-2 to the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Desert Warriors this season, with their most recent loss being a 22-7 defeat on Saturday.

Chaparral's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Santa Teresa, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Chaparral will square off against rival Silver at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Santa Teresa is set to take on their familiar foe Deming at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
