Volleyball Recap: Vasquez Beats Trinity Classical Academy for Their Seventh Straight Win

Vasquez waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trinity Classical Academy Knights. For the Mustangs, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Knights walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Vasquez walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 26-24, 23-25, 25-17.

Diego Camacho paced Vasquez's offense, picking up 28 kills. Camacho got some help from Fernando Vazquez and his 40 assists. Finally, Oliver Gates kept Vasquez's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Vasquez pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-5.

Coming up, Vasquez will take on The Palmdale Aerospace Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Classical Academy, they will face off against Palmdale Academy Charter School at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
