Clarksville had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Green Hill Hawks on Thursday as they made off with an 18-2 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won 24 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Clarksville is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 38-7 record this season. As for Green Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 21-11.

Coincidentally, Clarksville and Green Hill will both be playing Oak Ridge the next time they take the field. The Hawks will host the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will host them on Friday.
