Flag Football Game Preview: Cherry Creek Bruins vs. Grandview Wolves + How To Watch

Cherry Creek is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Grandview is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Bruins will host the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Cherry Creek 12.1, Grandview 7) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Saturday, Cherry Creek earned a 14-6 win over Arapahoe.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Grandview). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat Smoky Hill 54-0. With that victory, the Wolves brought their scoring average up to 27.4 points per game.

Cherry Creek better keep an eye on Abby Kirkpatrick. She was instrumental in Grandview's win, picking up 74 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 18 yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Brooke Sullivan, who threw for 104 yards and three TDs.

Grandview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Sullivan and Isis Prestwood. Sullivan got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Grandview's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Cherry Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.

Everything came up roses for Cherry Creek against Grandview in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-6 win. Will the Bruins repeat their success, or do the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
