Basketball Recap: Franklin County Has No Trouble Against Port Gibson

Franklin County hadn't done well against Port Gibson recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Franklin County Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 61-46 victory over the Port Gibson Blue Waves. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Blue Waves back in January, they had to take a 43-42 loss.

Franklin County is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-12 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Port Gibson, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-16.

As of now, neither Franklin County nor Port Gibson have any future games scheduled.
