Basketball Recap: Shroder Paideia Academy Comes Up Short

If Shroder Paideia Academy was riding high fresh off their 70-30 takedown of School for Creative Performing Arts last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shroder Paideia Academy Jaguars fell 59-47 to the Madeira MUSTANGS/AMAZONS on Wednesday.

Madeira got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ben Reed out in front who went 8-for-12 on his way to 17 points. Will Manning was another key player, putting up 11 points and five boards.

Shroder Paideia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Madeira, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Shroder Paideia Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madeira, they will challenge Deer Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
