Sperry entered their tilt with Cushing on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 26-15 victory over the Cushing Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 37-20 back in December of 2024.

Sperry is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points per game. As for Cushing, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.

Sperry and Cushing could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Sperry (ranked 238th) will meet Berryhill (ranked 105th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Cushing will square off against Kiefer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 322 places (382 vs. 60).
