Watersprings won against Sho-Ban last Thursday with 65 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Watersprings simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Leadore Mustangs 65-37. Watersprings has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Watersprings got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Korban Nelson out in front who went 6 for 13 on his way to 15 points along with five boards and five steals. Ryan Demkowicz was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Watersprings was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leadore only racked up nine assists.

Despite the loss, Leadore still got an impressive performance from Porter Mayo, who posted 13 points and four steals. Mayo is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jared Ramsey, who earned eight points and five rebounds.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Watersprings, bringing their record for this year to 12-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Leadore, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Watersprings wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-47 win against Rockland on the 21st. Leadore has also already played their next match, a 71-35 loss against Challis on the 21st.
