It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Herndon had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Oakton Cougars by a score of 3-1. The win continues a trend for Herndon in their matchups with Oakton: they've now won three in a row.

Herndon pushed their record up to 11-5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for Oakton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5-1.

Coming up, Herndon will face off against Westfield on Friday. Westfield will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Herndon surely won't give up without a fight. Oakton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
