Softball Recap: College Park Takes a Loss

College Park blew Northgate out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Northgate got their revenge. The Falcons fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Falcons have suffered since April 1st.

Nina Najafizadeh was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double was her first of the season.

College Park's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Northgate, their record now sits at 8-10.

Looking ahead, College Park will be playing in front of their home fans against Clayton Valley Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Ugly Eagles will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northgate, they will venture away from home to take on Acalanes at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Broncos are facing the Dons at the right time seeing as the Dons are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
