Football Recap: Ada Extends Winning Streak to Six

Ada had won five straight games and Caron Richardson did his part to make it six on Friday. Everything went the Cougars' way against the Hilldale Hornets as they made off with a 61-38 victory with plenty of help from Richardson, who rushed for 228 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 69 yards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Lakievin Richardson, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of scores. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 102.7 receiving yards per game.

When it comes to explaining why Hilldale lost, don't look at Brady Scott. Despite the final result, he rushed for 65 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, and also picked up 77 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Bryce Chartney, who gained 99 total yards and a touchdown.

Ada's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Hilldale, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Ada didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-8 victory against Stilwell on the 16th. As for Hilldale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 61-20 defeat against Broken Bow on the 16th.
