Baseball Recap: Potts Camp Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Potts Camp can now relate to. They came up short against the Falkner Eagles on Wednesday, falling 20-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-9 back in March.

Potts Camp saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Rider, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Potts Camp moved to 8-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Falkner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Potts Camp by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
