Basketball Recap: Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Warriors came up short against the Evergreen Christian Eagles and fell 67-54. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Jafet Valencia, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds for Evergreen Christian. The dominant performance also gave Valencia a new career-high in shooting accuracy (89%). Another player making a difference was Jackson Britt, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards.

Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Evergreen Christian, their win bumped their record up to 20-13.

As of now, neither Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue nor Evergreen Christian have any future games scheduled.
