Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Erin Armstrong and Grace Bandy Lead Champaign Central to Victory

Leading Champaign Central to victory were Grace Bandy and Erin Armstrong. Bandy had eight digs and seven aces, while Armstrong had three aces and two assists. With that strong performance, Bandy is now averaging an impressive 10.2 digs per game. Blayke Johnson also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Champaign Central was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive contests.

Champaign Central's win bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Graves County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Champaign Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fairfield on the 13th. As for Graves County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Glenwood on the 13th.
