The Classical Academy Titans will head out on the road to take on the Woodland Park Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. While The Classical Academy didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Sand Creek on Thursday as The Classical Academy made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering the Titans have won five matches by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Ada Wilson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. That's the most hits she has posted since back in September of 2023. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and an RBI.
In other batting news, Mattie Daggett was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Woodland Park was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against Coronado, falling 14-1. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost seven in a row.
Woodland Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Schoendaller, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI.
The Classical Academy's record is now 6-4. As for Woodland Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
