Soccer Recap: Fivay Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fivay can now relate to. They fell just short of the Zephyrhills Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Falcons' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Alex McCann and Veronica Labrada scored both of Fivay's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Fivay's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-3. As for Zephyrhills, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-16.

Fivay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zephyrhills, they will square off against Cypress Creek at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.
