There's no place like home for Westfield, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They won a  game that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the James Madison Warhawks 17-16. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered  a  35-28  loss the last time these two teams met.
The critical scores for Westfield came from  Jason Lartey and  Malachi Lee.
 Westfield didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. Lartey picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. Lartey is also crushing it when it comes to  total tackles: he's   made at least seven every time he's  taken the field this season. He got in on the action too, converting a pick  into a touchdown.
Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for James Madison,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-3 record.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming  matchups. Westfield will venture away from home to  challenge Oakton  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for James Madison, they will head out to  square off against Centreville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Warhawks will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least 31  points  every time they've taken the field this season.
