Baseball Recap: Pinnacle Classical Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Hickory Christian Academy

Pinnacle Classical Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Hickory Christian Academy Knights by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Pinnacle Classical Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Harvey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. Those two hits gave Harvey a new career-high.

The victory made it two in a row for Hickory Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.
