It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Iredell had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Alexander Central Cougars. The win was familiar territory for the Raiders, who have now won six matches in a row.

Despite the loss, Alexander Central still got an impressive performance from Julianne Lewis, who had 16 digs and two aces.

North Iredell's victory bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Alexander Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

North Iredell has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Watauga on the 25th. Alexander Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
