After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brusly, Plaquemine was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 25-6 margin over the East St. John Wildcats. The Green Devils might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by 11 runs or more this season.

With the victory, Plaquemine broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-12. As for East St. John, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10-1.

Plaquemine didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-0 loss against Central Lafourche on the 8th. As for East St. John, they have also already played their next game, a 17-0 defeat against Edna Karr on the 8th.
