Simla skates past Front Range Christian with ease

The Simla Cubs put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Front Range Christian 42-0 at home. Fans of Simla have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Simla's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was TJ Eurich, who rushed for 155 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Eurich was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Caston Cox, who rushed for 58 yards and a touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Simla's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Brent Bowker and Treven Kocerha who racked up 4.5 sacks between them.

Simla's win was their 12th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. As for Front Range Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Simla will be playing in front of their home fans against Merino at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Merino will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. Front Range Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
