Volleyball Recap: Ankeny Find Success

The Ankeny Hawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Des Moines Christian Lions 2-1.

Ankeny has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Des Moines Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Ankeny didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Roosevelt on the 20th. As for Des Moines Christian, they will take on Panorama at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
