Rock Springs posted their biggest victory since December 20, 2024 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Green River Wolves with a sharp 68-48 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the TIGERS also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Rock Springs was led to victory by Sam Lionberger and Boston James. Lionberger went 9 of 17 on his way to 22 points and seven boards, while James went 6 for 14 en route to 14 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Andrew Moneyhun, who posted nine points along with five boards and three steals.

Rock Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in four consecutive matches.

The victory got Rock Springs back to even at 6-6. As for Green River, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rock Springs will venture away from home to challenge Star Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Star Valley will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Rock Springs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Green River, they will head out on the road to face off against Jackson Hole at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Green River is facing Jackson Hole at the right time seeing as Jackson Hole is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
