Whitehall entered their tilt with Montague on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 13-7 W against the Wildcats. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while the Wildcats are ranked 204th).

Whitehall's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Montague, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Whitehall will head out to face off against Manistee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Montague, they will be playing at home against Ludington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Orioles have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
