North Central suffers fourth straight loss at home

Recap: North Central Knights vs. Lewisville Lions

This season hasn't been kind to the North Central Knights, who are still winless after their ninth matchup. They were beaten by Lewisville 47-11 on Friday. North Central was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.

Lewisville found their leader in underclassman Aiyana Murrell, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 19 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Murrell has scored at least 25% of Lewisville's points. Mariah Wallace was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six steals.

North Central bumped their record down to 0-9 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Lewisville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

North Central will head out on the road to face off against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Andrew Jackson will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Lewisville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against C.A. Johnson at 6:15 p.m.
