Recap: Hawthorne Cougars vs. Beverly Hills Normans

If the Hawthorne Cougars were feeling good off their 51-31 takedown of the Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Hawthorne was beaten by Beverly Hills 81-31 on Monday. Hawthorne was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-21.

When it comes to explaining why Hawthorne lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alfredo Ramirez. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points. Fernando Cruz was another key contributor, scoring six points.
