Soccer Recap: Northtown Takes a Loss

After flying high against Westmont on Tuesday, Northtown came back down to earth. The Pumas came up short against the Lake View Wildcats on Thursday, falling 6-2. The contest was a 2-2 toss-up at halftime, but Northtown couldn't quite close it out.

Jessi Aviles wasn't going to let Lake View walk away unscathed as he scored both of Northtown's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Northtown's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Lake View, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northtown will head out to square off against Roosevelt at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lake View, they will venture away from home to face off against Schurz at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
