Volleyball Recap: Sturgeon Bay Takes a Loss

Sturgeon Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Sun Prairie West Wolves. The Clippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Regan Kasten paced Sturgeon Bay's offense, picking up three kills. Kasten got some help from Prudence Goettelman and her five assists.

Sturgeon Bay's loss dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Sun Prairie West, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Sturgeon Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Appleton East on the 13th. As for Sun Prairie West, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Hortonville on the 13th.
