Basketball Recap: East Grand Comes Up Short

East Grand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 95-11 loss at the hands of the Katahdin Cougars. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-9.

East Grand's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Katahdin, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Grand will host Wisdom at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Katahdin, they will welcome Ashland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Katahdin is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
