Basketball Recap: Madison County Takes a Loss

Madison County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 41-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Jackson Chiefs. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chiefs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Madison County's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for North Jackson, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Madison County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Jackson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-31 defeat against Fort Payne on the 21st.
