Baseball Recap: Murray Snaps Six-Game Streak of Wins at Home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Murray can now relate to. They fell 6-2 to the Viewmont Vikings on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-3 loss on Thursday.

Murray saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sam Brousseau, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Murray's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-7-1. As for Viewmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

Murray does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Viewmont, they will take on Maple Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Eagles will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
