Volleyball Recap: St. Paul's Episcopal Triumphs

After losing to Orange Beach the last time they met, St. Paul's Episcopal decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Saints came out on top against the Makos by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

St. Paul's Episcopal's offense was headlined by Marissa Smith and Bennett Boulo, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Ivey Marston and her nine assists. Corinne Payne and Kendall Dougherty kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

St. Paul's Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 23-15. As for Orange Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-17 record this season.

St. Paul's Episcopal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orange Beach, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Madison County on the 11th.
